Quilt Show of the Little Mountains recap

What a great weekend with the Contented Heart Quilt Guild of Monticello, KY.

The show was wonderful.  They had SIX whole cloth, hand quilted quilts, which are nearly impossible to photograph, plus 12 (!!) more hand quilted quilts.  This is an annual show, so this is very telling of the quilting community.

One of the guild members and her husband run a Civil War Museum & she wore this outfit all weekend.  She is pressed against the table a little…it’s a full hoop skirt.

I think the quilt below (memory fails me) was a children’s quilt project, each child making a block for the crazy quilt.
