The Fentress County Fair Association is about to head to Nashville to compete against the other county fair assn’s and will be taking along this quilt for competition at the convention.
Our Tennessee Puzzle
This quilt is completely hand crafted.
It was hand pieced by Debbie Hart, Eileen Powell, Shannon Ownby, and Pamela Kissel.
The English paper pieced flowers were crafted by JoAnn Knapp.
The hand applique was completed by Shannon Ownby and Patsy Littrell
The hand quilting and binding was completed by Shannon Ownby and Margaret Lester.
The label was hand embroidered by Charlotte Tompkins.
The quilt is 56” square.
It was a joy to coordinate this community project with these very talented ladies. I look forward to planning the next one!
Thanks to all the ladies who helped keep us motivated to finish this project on time as well as the ladies who helped with needle & thread!
