My best summer childhood memory is spending my kindergarten graduation at Disneyland with my family. We skipped the graduation and went and had fun instead. And the best part if for years I have been able to truthfully say that I never graduated from Kindergarten :) Thanks for the great giveaway!

My funnies childhood memory is kinda gross. My grandparents were driving my brother, sister and me to my cousins for the weekend and we were in the back seat. My brother was messing around saying...see my finger, see my nose..see my booger...there is goes! He actually flicked the booger and it almost hit my grandpa in the back of the head! He moved his head just in time and it landed on the dashboard. Grandma says, "What was that?" And Grandpa says, "Oh, you're just seeing things!" We kids thought it was the funniest thing!

My grandmother had a summer house in Patchogue, LI, and sometimes I got to spend the week with her. My cousins, aunts and uncles and parents and brothers would come later and then it was all out fun. Flashlight tag, beach days, body surfing, bbqs and fun. We also did a lot of camping, so there were many great trips and memories.

My dad built a homemade camper that fit on the back of his old truck. We (Dad, Mom, and my sister) went to a little camping area in Arkansas. When it became dusk, we were innundated with thousands of mosquitoes big enough to have to log flight plans for take off's and landings! We decided to find another place to sleep with less mosquitoes (but we still laugh about it today).

I remember spending a week on my Grandmother's farm one summer. Had a blast feeding the chickens, gathering eggs, slopping the pigs. Worked harder for her than I ever did for my mother but it was fun. Thanks for the chance to win.

We went to Yellowstone National Park in 1976 and took my cousin along. It was so much fun exploring the park and spending time with him. Would love to go back to see how much is has changed!

My favorite vacation memory was when my DAUGHTER was a child ; will this count ? I was too small to remember our vacations as a child !!! anyway , when dd was in 1st grade we got to go to Disney in Florida ; it was only 1 day , but awesome ! I was just way more excited than she was ! and a few years ago I got to return with my daughter and her 2 kids ; so it's extra awesome !

I don't really remember any good childhood vacations. LOL Something seemed to happen in each one to make it memorable to me, but couldn't say they were good.
There was the time we went to Chesapeake Bay, Virginia. I think I was about 6 and had never been to the beach before. I walked out into the water and straight into a huge group of jellyfish. I got stung all over and couldn't, or maybe it was I wouldn't, go back into the water again.

My best summer memory is staying with my grandmother and cousins in a cabin on a lake. We would arise early, go fishing with cane poles, then my grandmother would clean the fish. Next came cooking breakfast of our freshly caught fish, grits, biscuits with homemade jelly, scrambled eggs, and whole milk (from my grandfather's milk cows). We had the best time!

That is a beautiful Snap Sack kit that I'd love to make and use for a 4th of July party. Ok, my best summertime memory? A bit difficult, as I do have some good ones.

I guess I'd have to say my best summertime memory was tent camping in the Big Bear Lake area. One warm summer night the adults took the kids "snipe" hunting down by the lake. We all turned all our flash lights off, so that the snipe birds would run into our paper sacks. And, we were very quiet. But, what happen was all the adults left the kids by the water. Fortunately, when us kids caught on and returned to our campsites there was plenty of SMORES and fun. For those not aware of snipes....they are not real, or at least not real in So. Cal. Just a good joke to play on someone by taking them hunting in the middle of the night!

I'm in the UK and we didn't go on holiday much when I was a child as my parents were farmers! Mostly we stayed with farming friends so a busmans' holiday really!!

Well, one summer I went to Hawaii, and I loved it; it was extra special. But even when we went on just regular family vacations, I always enjoyed the Great Smoky Mtns...we went just about every year.

I never really went on a summer vacation...our vacations were in the fall! We always like to go to the mountains, hiking, historical sites, etc. The fall colors on the drive are an added bonus. :)

Mmm, Summer vacation...we didn't travel alot but one year my grandparents took me, my sister and our parents to Disney World. We loved it there but oddly enough the one thing I really remember about the road trip was stopping somewhere we they had a glass bottom boat. I loved seeing all the fish under the water. I thought it was so cool. BTW, I was probably 10 years old.

Girl scout camp was the best, closely followed by the "family camp out" with the boy scouts.

My father was in the Army when I was younger and we lived in Kentucky . I was fortunate to be able to spend the month of July with my grandparents and would go camping all over Connecticut. Sometimes my grandfather would take me to his road construction work sites with him...got to ride in the big Caterpillar trucks with him! What fun!! Would love to be chosen for this table runner as it reminds of the 4th of July's spent with my grandparents.,,,thanks for the giveaway!

Haha.. I missed out the "childhood" ....
I think it's during my kindergarten age. My aunt brought me to visit Singapore. That is my first time travel with Aeroplane :)

Favourite summer memory from my growing up years would be teaming up with my mom's sister and her family and going to a nearby zoo or park. There were 7 of us, and 5 or more from my aunt's family, so quite a crowd. Good memories.
