More pictures from the cotton field

As mentioned last weekend, I have grown a cotton plant.  Yeah, just one, but it’s just entranced me all week.

Here are some pictures of some new blooms.  How cool that some are pink & others buttery cream yellowcotton 82312

Those venus fly-trap looking things will be flowers one day!

pretty cool ! several years ago , while in northern Alabama Steve took us by some cotton fields that had the white cotton ; it was cool . My friend brought a big white chunk home ; I told her I'd make her a quilt ==haha .

How unique. I confess, I've never paid attend to cotton plants. Do you plan to do anything with the cotton produced from it...or is this just a really far fetched and off base question that shows my lack of gardening knowledge?
