The August Snap Sack is truly Hearth Warming

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

Congrats to our winner, bairdmtn

The “Dog Days” of August are ahead, but I think we should focus on the colors of fall that will follow! This month, we present you with Hearth Warming, a beautiful fall table runner kit.
hearthwarming

I don’t think I mentioned before that all the Snap Sack patterns are written by Joan Ford, author of your favorite Scrap Therapy & Cut the Scraps books.  You will love the way she did the mitered corner on the first border.  What a breeze!

We used a quilting design from emblibrary.com for the pinwheel’s quilting & stitched in the ditch around the borders.  We can’t wait to see how you finish yours!

Remember, our Snap Sacks are complete quilt kits.  This table runner is sure to warm up your table or hearth this fall.
Everything you need for the top, the batting, backing, binding,  and of course the pattern is included.  Just add needle, thread & YOU (I tried to get you in the bag too, but you wouldn’t fit)!  This goes together in a jiffy.

 hearthwarming-001

Perfect for gift giving (or treating yourself)!  This kit is available in the shop or online HERE!
A new kit comes out each month. Check out all of the kits right HERE.

As we have in the past, we will give away a free kit of this month’s Snap Sack to one of you (though without the bag)!  Leave a comment telling me your favorite season & why.  You must be a blog follower to win, so if you get our updates via email or rss, be sure to put that in your comment too.  I will draw a random winner on Monday, August 6th.

Go ahead & share the love (you know you want to )…use the share button below to tell those in your online quilting circle about this giveaway!

My favorite season? Spring! Especially a warm spring, with dwelling in the morning dew and nowadays going for a run.

I love Spring, when everything is "waking up" from the long cold winter. Fall is my second favorite time of the year with all the wonderful colors.

Thanks for the give away! I follow you in my rss feed.

The only one I don't really like is winter: too many layers, and too many things to put on. Spring is a good one as everything starts popping out after winter. Like the summer heat, and fall with it's beautiful colours is wonderful too. Thanks for the giveaway.

Another really pretty kit! My favorite season is Fall and Winter, love the color and cooler weather, but I also love Spring, for the new flowers.
I follow your blog and get emails. P.S, LOVE your scrappy quilt.

Thanks for the reminder that Fall is approaching and we need to work on our Fall projects. I certainly want to have a beautiful table topper to Welcome Fall this year.

Truly, I'm really not certain if I have a favorite season. Living in So. Cal. we love our 6" of rain to make things green and the rest of the seasons just have shades of seasonal changes. So, we really need to find ways to decorate and welcome in the seasons.

I loved a Fall when I was in Ohio. Spectacular, with beautiful fall colors everywhere. I loved a Spring when I was in Nevada and saw tress sprout with spring leaves and beautiful flowers pop from bulbs. My favorite summer season of colors was in British Columbia where everything was so bright and clear. And, I love winters in any mountains with snow. So, my favorite season really depends on where I'm at. Still, with decorations I happily welcome in every season in So. Cal.

If I had to pick a favorite season, I don't really know which I would choose! I love each one for different reasons, but spring and fall seem to be just perfect! Weather is perfect, makes you feel good and the scenery is beautiful in spring and fall! Summer has extreme heat, but the scenery is amazing! Winter has beautiful scenery and you can really see the earth in its bare bones, but I DON'T like the cold! The main thing about winter is the fact that you can spend more time inside a nice warm house QUILTING, which IS my favorite thing to do!! Hmmmm, maybe winter is batting up there close to the top for being a favorite..... I love your e-mails and your quotes of the days and read every single one you send out! Thank you for brightening my days!

Spring is my favorite season: all the beautiful flowers and green grass coming to life again after the long cold winter's gray days. But as I age, I am beginning to appreciate the beauty of Fall. The warm days and crisp clean evening air are perfect. If we haven't had a extreme drought (like the last two years here in Oklahoma) we get the beautiful treat of the changing colors - pure bliss!

Fall has always been my favorite. I love the crispness to the air; the scent of burning leaves and the riotous colors! We start to hunker down and get cozy by the wood stove with needle work in hand.

My favorite season in Fall! Living in the south, the Summers are SO rainy, hot and humid--- oppressively so--- and those beautiful crisp, clear, cool days of Fall are SUCH a gift! The grass slows down, so I don't have to mow every week... the trees put on their glorious show... the nights are just *perfectly* chilly enough for campfires and roasted marshmallows.... I can not WAIT! :-) Thank you SO much for the chance to win this this beautiful table runner kit! LOVE it! It'd be perfect for my Autumn table! :-)
