Holly Wreath Wall Hanging Quilt Kit PLUS Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed.  Congrats to Anne who commented:
Spending time with my family is wonderful, but this year my daughter and son-in-law will be with his parents in another state.
Cool nights & rustling leaves.  Yes it’s fall and time to put on the push to finish those handcrafted holiday presents.  Here’s one you can finish in a day, or better yet, give as a gift!
Holly Wreath is an applique & pieced 18” wall hanging or table topper.  Though I did raw edge machine applique on my sample, you can absolutely do yours by hand if you prefer that method.
Holly Wreath Snap Sack Kit
All Snap Sack patterns are written by Joan Ford, author of your favorite Scrap Therapy & Cut the Scraps books.

I fused my leaves & berries, then used the blanket stitch as my quilting.  I also quilted in the ditch around the blocks & between the borders all with luscious Aurifil 40 wt thread.
Holly Wreath Snap Sack Kit-002
Remember, our Snap Sacks are complete quilt kits.  This wall hanging is sure to add a little joy to your holidays this season.  All the details about the size and fabrics for this project can be found here: http://shop.fabricsnquilts.com/Snap-Sack-Quilt-Kit-Holly-Wreath-Wall-Hanging-ss1112.htm
Everything you need for the top, the batting, backing, binding,  and of course the pattern is included.  Just add needle, thread & YOU (I tried to get you in the bag too, but you wouldn’t fit)!
Perfect for gift giving (or treating yourself)!  This kit is available in the shop or online HERE!
A new kit comes out each month. Check out all of the kits right HERE.
As we have in the past, we will give away a free kit of this month’s Snap Sack to one of you (though without the bag)!
Leave a comment telling me your favorite part of this holiday season.  Our giveaway is open to all blog followers, so if you get our updates via email or rss, be sure to put that in your comment too. I will draw a random winner on Saturday, November 10th.
Go ahead & share the love (you know you want to )…use the share button below to tell those in your online quilting circle about this giveaway!

I'm thinking since you shared your
Christmas design,I love the evening when Christmas lights are on in and out of the house and dinner is on the table with family and friends. It just reminds me of being a kid coming in from the cold to a warm home.

Cookies! Love making and eating and decorating them. Love the colors of the trees, too, but here in PA they are all gone. Fires in the fireplace, and the smell of them from outside the house. Cozy!

My favorite part of the holidays is spending time with my family without the rush of everyday life. Lots of food, fun, and no time restrictions, enjoying each of them.

The best part of the year end holidays is getting to spend time with family members that live far away and I don't see often enough.

I love the feeling of love that is in the air all during December. I always try to keep that same feeling into January but it just goes away.

My favorite part of the holiday season is putting out our Nativity set. My birthday is the week before Christmas and when my children were small, my husband would take them to buy additional figures for the set as a birthday gift, Putting out the set brings back beautiful memories.

For me Christmas is celebrating my Savior's birth. I wasn't always this way. I was caught up in the world and all that it offers.....and it only leads to emptiness. Nothing can compare to worshiping and honoring my Jesus on His birthday and sharing it with my husband, kids and family.

my favorite part of this holiday season? which holiday? thanksgiving... I love the fall colors, the smell of thanksgiving dinner and gathering of family.
Christmas... i love the kinder attitudes and spirits that come to light with the coming of Christ's birthday... not all, but many people are just friendlier/happier at Christmas time.
