Tennessee Row by Row Experience Preview

rxr_2014_stickerThe Row by Row experience is gaining steam!  This summer-long free shop hop is new to many states this year.  Click here to see if there is a hop in your state.  If not, share the website with your fave LQS and ask them to get on board next year!

All the shops should have their row for preview starting Monday.  The theme for our rows is “seasons.”  We chose fall & pumpkins due to our community’s annual Pumpkin Festival.   (when you visit that website, be sure to click on the Pumpkin Roll recipe link on the left.  I do love me some (nut-free) pumpkin roll)  If you’ve never been to a giant pumpkin weigh off, plan that trip!

Here is our row!

I’m more of a visual person when it comes to directions.  So, being visual, I used Google Maps & marked all the participating TN shops.  Feel free to use this as you plan YOUR shop hop!

Our fabric vanity plates are also here.

You can preview the vanity plates for your state on the same page mentioned above.

We look forward to seeing you this summer!

Plan a summer shop hop with the Row by Row Experience

TN row by row banner

Have you heard of the Row by Row experience?  Neither had I until a couple weeks ago.

How about a shop hop that is free for you & requires NO purchases….PLUS you have 3 months to hop!?  Right up my alley!

The Row by Row experience is a state by state event.  There are 34 states & 1 Canadian province participating.  Click here to see if your state is participating!

Simply visit any of the participating shops and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling throughout the summer. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows!

Each state has its own Facebook page too.  Look for yours!  Here is a link to the Tennessee page.  Our coordinator is the amazing Maddie Kertay from Chattanooga’s new Spool Quilt Shop and the BAQS

Each shop will have it’s own specials, fun and pattern.  Create a completed quilt, using at least 8 different rows, and be the first to bring it into a participating shop.  The first quilt brought to each shop will win a stack of 25 fat quarters (6-1/4 yards of fabric!). Use that shop’s row in your quilt and win a bonus prize!

And as if that wasn’t quite enough to temp you, you can also collect fabric “vanity plates” from the participating shops.

Here’s ours:

You know you want one!  We will be offering these in only a limited quantity, so plan your trip now!

The Row by Row Experience begins July 1st and will end September 30th.  Get your buds & your sunglasses, then hit the road this summer.  Explore the quilt shops in your state, grab some goodies, and see what happens next!

(We will unveil our row on May 31st here on the blog & on our Facebook page.  Don’t miss it!)
